MASON'S STORY

In 2019, Mason was injured practicing motocross, which resulted in a spinal cord injury (C4 quadriplegic). He was airlifted to Houston's Medical Center where he spent the next three weeks fighting for his life. For Mason, his injury represents not an end, but a rebirth.

A dedicated Wings for Life Ambassador since 2022, Mason has once again been selected as a Wings for Life Ambassador Captain for 2025. His leadership in fundraising continues to make a meaningful impact, thanks to the unwavering support of his community.

In 2024, Mason raised over $72,000 for spinal cord research through the inaugural Moving Forward Fundraiser. This qualified him for Wings for Life USA’s Honoring Through Research. This is a campaign giving Mason the ability to link his name to a portfolio of cutting-edge research.

This year, Mason will visit the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago and looks forward to sharing insights from this experience.
